Detronik experiments in a full range of Human Interface and Control Modules. Experiments include the use of microcontrollers as well as physical reactive relays. Detronik has been experimenting within the programming environment and incorporating multiple methods of translating data from the real world into the computational world. These devices are then integrated into Detroniks installations and visual applications to react based on the surrounding environment. Sensors include Infrared Detection, Laser Interruption, Physical Motion, Sonar, Tactile/Touch Contacts, Light Sensors, Audio Inputs, and Potentiometers. Much of this technology is imbedded into the physical world utilizing microcontrollers as a means of translating human interaction into data that can be transposed into programming environments.
